For the past 17 years, Matt Angell has enjoyed working in the hemophilia community. Currently, he is the president of Specialty Therapeutic Care and is responsible for the daily operational activities as well as the overall quality of service, sales and financial performance of the company. He takes great pride in the fact that he can have a positive impact on client’s lives by developing long term personal relationships. In his spare time, he can be found playing tennis and golf, or hunting and fishing with his wife and two children.

Vanessa Bates has been helping Specialty Therapeutic Care clients as a pharmacist at the Houston branch for the past three years, and has been working in the medical field for 10 years. She enjoys being able to work with patients “from beginning to end” when it comes to their care, as she is not only a pharmacist, but also takes time to answer their questions and concerns too. When not spending time with her eight month old son, she partakes in outdoor activities such as: scuba diving, running, fishing and skiing.

Norma Olivares has been working for Specialty Therapeutic Care for over three years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and Patient Care Coordinator. She is employed at the Houston, Texas location and is also our Hispanic Community Relations advisor and is fluent in Spanish. She is a people person above all and the proud mom of two marines and has a son who just entered college. When she is not working, she can be found spending time with her husband going to baseball games or playing with their three cats and one diva dog!

Charlene Signorino, Vice President of Specialty Therapeutic Care, has been a registered pediatric nurse for 22 years and has been working in the bleeding disorders community for over 20 years. With her wealth of experience, she is the obvious choice to educate new families about living with bleeding disorders, to teach how to infuse at home, to work with doctors in smaller communities and to negotiate with insurance companies. She has enjoyed working with the Houston Chapter for 15 years and loves witnessing children’s sense of pride when they begin to take control of their own bleeding disorder. In her spare time she likes to play golf and watch her 11 year old son play baseball.

Charlye Perry is a huge asset to the Specialty Care team for two reasons: she loves meeting and working with people in the bleeding disorders community and because she “walks the walk” – she has severe hemophilia A, herself and also has two grown children with hemophilia! She has been with the Specialty Therapeutic Care team for two years working as a Community Relations Representative in her home office in Whidbey Island, Washington. When she is not working she enjoys reading, swimming, playing cards and sight-seeing with her family.

Community Relations Representative Kristie Cimino has been working with Specialty Therapeutic Care for two years and has been enjoying every minute of it. Her favorite parts of her job are providing information and support to the families of clients and working with chapters and national organizations. She loves to read (especially the Twilight series) and is learning to bowl. Kristie is making a difference in the world of hemophilia!

Since starting his position as a Specialty Services Representative a year ago, Chad Fredericksen has enjoyed making a difference in clients’ lives and especially the fact that he can, as a person living with severe hemophilia himself, mentor the younger generation. Chad considers himself a success because he loves his job, and he hopes that by working with boys with hemophilia he can lead them to become as successful as he is. He lives in Dallas with his wife Julia and his almost-two-year old daughter Hadlee. They enjoy boating and traveling together.

Sean Hubbert is Specialty Therapeutic Care’s west coast Specialty Services Representative. Working from her home in Northern California she especially likes the fact that she gets to work with people and make a difference in their lives. She has been working for Specialty Therapeutic Care for one year and has been in the medical field for 23 years. She has two college aged kids and one grandson, and in her time off she enjoys attending motorcycle races!
